Control and Automation Engineering (CAE):

The Undergraduate Program in Control and Automation Engineering (CAE) was created at UFSC in 1988. The first class of Control and Automation Engineers graduated in 1994.

The CAE Undergraduate Program admits 60 students annually.

The Graduate Program in Automation and Systems Engineering is operated by the Department of Automation and Systems Engineering (DAS). The program is of one of the nation's top programs of its kind (CAPES grade 5, maximum 7).
